The Central Illinois District offers a scholarship program to support students of CID congregations pursuing a degree to become full-time church workers at one of our synodical institutions. We will provide financial aid in accordance with the policies and guidelines developed by the CID Board of Directors.
This application is available at each synodical institution’s Financial Aid office and on the District’s website. After completing the application and FAFSA, the individual must submit them to their Financial Aid office. These must be completed as soon as possible for each academic year. The Financial Aid office will determine the student's unmet need and forward the application to our office. This information will be reviewed by the CID scholarship committee. All applicants will receive written notice of their scholarship amounts after the mid-summer committee meeting. All scholarship funds will be submitted directly to each institution on a semester basis.
All questions regarding this application should be directed to the institution you are planning on attending. Direct all other questions regarding the scholarship to the Central Illinois District Office at (217) 793-1802.
