Dear gracious Father, Source of all life, grant us forgiveness for our failures to protect the lives of the helpless and the innocent.  Dispatch Your holy angels to safeguard the unborn babies presently under the shadow of death. Show Your mercy to mothers who are alone and afraid and grant them the courage and resolve they need to choose life for their little ones. Hear us, O Lord, for the sake of our Savior, Jesus Christ, whose blood cleanses us from even the most grievous of sins. Amen.
